POGIL
Standing for Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning, POGIL is a tool for a group learning experience. The teacher only has to supervise the students working on the sheet (provided by the POGIL group), and make sure that the students are on the right track. This builds the student's ability to learn with guidance with instructions alone. Worksheets are well designed, as it gradually leads the students to the concept they are to learn, step by step.

Crash Course Chemistry
Similar to Khan academy in terms of videos, this YouTube channel helps the understanding of different concepts and calculations in this unit, and many other units as well. This can also be used to flip the classroom, but additional activities may be required. The videos are fun and interesting, but may lack some information you would like to include.

Lesson Hooks/Consolidations
Memory GameStudents will play a simple memory game with their partners. Students will either create their own cards or will be provided with cards by the teacher. Each of the cards should have a match, and they will take turns to find the match of the first card they pick up. Whoever has the most pair of cards will win the match.
Bluff
This game can be used as a review activity. Students are divided into two teams, and are sitting facing each other. A question will be asked, and whoever knows the answer in one team will stand up. The opposing team will pick a single person to request the answer. If they answer correctly, points will be awarded according to the number of people standing. The students are allowed to bluff and stand up, even if they do not know the answer to acquire more points. However, if the wrong answer is called out, no points will be added, even if the others can solve the problem. Each team will take turns until the time is over. The winner of the game is determined by the team with the higher points.

Snowball Fight
This game can also be used to review each of the chapters presented in this section of the website. The students are to make several equilibrium questions (or these can be teacher provided), and are divided into two separate teams. They will crumple up one paper containing one question and start having a "snowball" fight in the class. When the time is up, each students will pick up one "snowball", and solve the problem in the paper. If you wish to make this game competitive, each right answer will give 1 point each, and the team with the higher points will win the game.
